  • We think three-month-on-three-month growth in employment halved to 125K in May, from 250K in April.
  • Surveys are a mixed bag, but growth will be depressed by the exit of an anomalous cohort from the sample.
  • Wage growth should slow now that the National Living Wage hike is in the past; PAYE data point to a slowdown.
