  • Non-food shop prices in June were no higher than in May, according to the BRC; food price rises slowed too.
  • Motor fuel CPI inflation also will fall sharply in June, reducing its contribution to the headline rate by 0.4pp.
  • June’s sharp fall in the proportion of firms worried about energy prices also points to a drop in services inflation.
