  • We look for a 0.1% q/q fall in Q3 GDP; July's data have been revised down, and retail sales likely fell in September.
  • But GDP still looks set to grow in Q4, driven by consum- ers' spending; wages will rise more quickly than prices.
  • Cost of Living grant payments to households will step up in Q4, boosting total disposable incomes by 0.9%.
