  •  German factory orders crashed at the end of Q1, setting up a difficult Q2 for manufacturing.
  • Industrial production in France was flat in Q1, but manufacturing in Spain rebounded.
  • Euro area retail sales fell again in the first quarter; we're hoping for better in Q2.
