  • Detailed GDP data for Italy confirmed it fell by 0.1% q/q in Q4, but Irish data were revised much lower.
  • Coupled with the revision to German GDP, this points to EZ GDP being revised to a 0.1% fall in Q4.
  • Surveys are coming in strong, but the Italian and EZ recessions still look more likely than not.
