  • Italian GDP likely fell in Q4, as well as in Q1, despite the improvement in business surveys.
  • Consumption was the main drag on growth, but investment also probably fell.
  • Growth should rebound, from Q2, but the economy will only grow by 0.7% this year, in line with Germany.
