What information we collect

Referrals may be received via email from various lead generators for example Zoom info. Our Sales staff may create leads from LinkedIn, Bloomberg, the financial press, Google, etc. We may also receive a direct approach from individuals who contact Pantheon Macroeconomics via telephone, email, or a website enquiry. In all these cases we collect the following initial information:

personal information such as your name and contact details (corporate email address, business telephone number, job title, company name)
other personal identifiers such as IP addresses you use to access our website along with your usage details and password for our website.

When you enter into a contract/agreement with us we may collect further personal information from you. The type of additional information we may collect is:

The areas of our work which interest you
Details of communications between us such as emails and phone calls
For suppliers, we may also store contacts details, bank details and previous invoicing information.

If you download our app and login as a client or as part of your trial, to use our push notifications, we collect;

The Device token/s, which is a unique key for the app-device combination issued by Apple or Google.
The notification preference selected within the app.

We do not collect sensitive information such as health details or any payment information.

We may use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes to our website, any new products, services, and special events that we think you will find relevant.

If you would rather not receive this information, details of how to remove yourself from our subscription system will be contained in the emails that you receive from us.

Why do we process your information?

If you have not entered into an agreement for service provisions with us, our lawful basis for processing your data is Legitimate Interest. This is where we have identified a genuine and legitimate reason for processing your data, which does not override your rights or interests. We process personal data in order to find and contact businesses who we believe have a commercial interest in reading our economics research, to allow us to deliver our services to our customers and to make them aware of new products as they become available. We also retain the minimum information necessary to make sure that we do not contact anyone who has told us that they do not want to hear from us.

Once you have entered into an agreement with us, the lawful basis for us to continue to process your data will be in the fulfilment of a contract. For example, we will need to process your data in order to:

Respond to an enquiry about out services received via our website or by email or telephone
Fulfil an agreement with us for any service provision
Enable us to support our customer obligations and service requirements

How do we protect your information

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. We regularly review our security measures to ensure that they are up to date and appropriate. Staff undergo regular training on data protection and cyber security risks. We have ensured that and third parties with access to your data (see above) meet the same high standards of data security.

Who we share your data with

We may use third party organisations to provide elements of our services on our behalf. We have contracts in place with these organisations which means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do so. They will hold it securely for the purposes we instruct and delete it according to our agreement with them. The main organisations we share your information with are:

IT software providers to enable us to collect and process data in fulfilling your query, in fulfilment of our agreement with you (based on your consent) and to develop our IT systems
Our telephony provider to enable us to conduct our business using a VoIP system
Sub-contractors who undertake website and client marketing service provision.
Sub-contractors who maintain our marketing databases and ensure they are accurate and up to date. Our EU data is processed within the EU by carefully chosen partners, Infosource, Bulgaria who have shown that they comply with GDPR regulations and our own high data protection standards.
Website and App Analytics, such as Firebase and Google Analytics who provide information on performance, app authentication and Realtime Database to understand usage trends and platform failures. Firebase is a subsidiary of Google LLC based in San Francisco (CA), USA. We will not share your information with any third parties for the purpose of marketing services directly to you. Pantheon Macroeconomics does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

There may be occasions, such as when information is stored in the secure systems used by Pantheon Macroeconomics Inc, where your information is processed outside of the United Kingdom. Where this is the case appropriate organisational and technical measures and agreements are adopted to ensure the protection of your information.

Pantheon Macroeconomics, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the United States. How long do we store your data?

We keep your data for the minimum period necessary to meet our aims, above. We review our records on an ongoing basis to make sure that we only hold up-to-date, relevant data.

We will retain client data for as long as you are a subscriber.
We know that many former subscribers will be interested in our products in future roles and when research budgets change and so we retain the minimum data on former clients to allow us to contact them. We review this data regularly and delete it once it is no longer relevant.
We retain data on prospective clients for as long as the data is still current and accurate and we have reason to believe, from our communication with them, that they may have an interest in our services either now or in the future. We will review this data on a regular basis and delete any data which is not relevant or accurate after 5 years.
Where we have been asked not to contact an individual, we will retain their current contact details indefinitely to ensure we can comply with this request. We review this data periodically to delete any information that has become out of date. We can, of course, delete this data, too, if requested (see your right to erasure, below).

Under EU and UK legislation, if you are in the UK or a country covered by the EU GDPR, you have rights as a Data Subject including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not normally required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make an access request, we have one month to respond to you.
