12 June. 2015 Brazil Inflation rises again, raising the risk of more BCB rate hikes

Brazil's benchmark inflation index, the IPCA, rose 0.7% month-to-month in May, above market expectations. The stickiness of some components explains the surprise upshift; food prices in particular rose by 1.4% in May, after a 1% increase in April.
