The recovery in GDP has been stronger and households have more savings in the U.S. than in the U.K.
Fiscal policy is set to remain very accommodative in the U.S., but will be tightened significantly in Britain.
The U.K. economy is more sensitive to changes in short rates, and the neutral rate is lower than in the U.S.
